ORDER OF THE MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE AND FOOD INDUSTRY OF THE RM

On some measures to strengthen state control over the quality and safety of alcohol products

I ORDER:

1. Government agencies for the supervision and control of alcoholic products to strengthen control over the quality and safety of alcoholic beverages produced.

2. To accredited bodies for certification of alcoholic beverages, to ensure certification of their products only upon submission of the following documents:

– phytosanitary certificate indicating the active substance of the pesticides used;

– hygienic certificate for grapes used in the production of this batch of alcoholic beverages;

– extracts from the magazine of acceptance of grapes for processing (according to Appendix No. 2 to the Technical Regulations “System of organization of the market of grape and wine-making products and traceability of its production”, approved by Government Decree No. 356 of 05/11/2009).

3. When identifying cases of exceeding the maximum permissible concentrations of harmful substances (pesticides, phthalates, etc.), the certification bodies for alcoholic products must be obliged to notify the State Inspectorate for the Supervision of Alcohol, which must take appropriate measures in accordance with current legislation.

4. When testing for the content of phthalates in alcoholic products, the testing and certification bodies shall be guided by the Methodological Recommendations of the Russian Federation MUK 4.1.738-99 (Chromatomass-spectrometric determination of phthalates and organic acids in water).

5. This order shall be published in the Official Monitor of the Republic of Moldova.

6. I impose control over the execution of this order upon myself.
