Winners of the contest “Golden Barrel 2014”

In the framework of the National Day of Wine on October 4, 2014. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova will award the winners of the competition for the best home-made wine “Golden Barrel”.

650 samples of homemade wine were submitted to the XIII contest, 90 of which were passed to the republican stage.

The national tasting was held on April 1, 2014. The most active were farmers from Kakhul, Keushensky, Orhei, Telenesky, Rezinsky, Streshensky, Yalovensky, Criulensky, Unghensky, Taraclia districts.

The main prize “Golden Barrel” – a barrel of 120 liters. Traditionally, the winners are awarded in the month of October, in a festive atmosphere, within the framework of the National Wine Day.

The competition for the best homemade wine “Golden Barrel” is organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova and is held to identify the best homemade wine producers, popularize the national traditions of homemade Moldovan wines, improve their consumption culture, exchange information between homemade wine producers.
