ALCOHOL MAY RETURN TO RUSSIAN Gas Stations

There was a discussion in the country about whether it was worth re-empowering gas stations with the right to sell alcohol, which, as we know, is completely incompatible with driving a car. How good is the idea that can provoke the driver to pour not only fuel into the tank of the car, but also to “fill up” himself?

The origins of the idea, I suppose, is that at the end of March the agreement on the freezing of gasoline prices, signed at the end of last year by large oil companies, the Ministry of Energy and the Federal Antimonopoly Service, expires. And, if this agreement is not prolonged in one form or another, the jump in prices, most likely, cannot be avoided. It was then that they remembered about “saving” alcohol.
