In Ingushetia, for the first time since Soviet times, laid vineyards
In the republic, vineyards were laid on an area of about four hectares of land. This was told in one of the local farms for growing fruit, which is one of the largest in Russia.
The company supplies apples to many Russian regions and abroad. Now it hopes that they will grow in large volumes and grapes.
Specialists planted three table varieties – white, pink and black. This is a trial ball. Next year it is planned to harvest up to 50 tons of grapes.
During the Soviet years, there were many vineyards in Ingushetia, but then they were cut down at the command of “from above”, as in many other regions of the country. Now they are planning to revive the industry, including with the support of regional authorities. Investors receive substantial tax and land lease benefits in Ingushetia.
