Georgian wine was introduced in New York, Chicago and Boston, the National Wine Agency reports today. The presentation included a tasting and a seminar on the culture of Georgian wine and its modern industry, Novosti-Georgia informs.

Local wine distributors and media representatives had the opportunity to meet with wine producers from Georgia. The event was held by the famous American sommelier Taylor Parsons from Los Angeles, who has already visited Georgia three times.

The United States is viewed in Georgia as one of the growing strategic markets. According to the Wine Agency, the export of Georgian wine to the American market is growing steadily. According to the data for the six months of 2019, 354 thousand bottles of wine were exported from Georgia to the USA, an increase of 90% over last year.
